秋收

中西部的天气说变就变。一个礼拜前家里还开着空调呢，气温在85-90度之间徘徊，上周五下午居然开始下雪了！为了对菜园子进行土壤改造，今年没有种第三茬，就等着收完菜园子里夏天的菜，然后把树上掉下来的树叶在菜园子里烧一把，中和一下土壤的酸性，再把几周前拉回来的composite soil混进菜园子，今年就冬休了。没想到这一等，树叶还没变色呢，就把一个礼拜的秋天等完了--周五提前下班，回家赶紧收不能挨霜的蔬菜。

辣椒20斤，茄子丝瓜不多了， 还够吃一顿。。。扁豆来不及收了，反正该晒的晒了许多，一个冬天的贮备差不多了， 由它去吧。

晚上朋友来短信，谢谢我托她周末回家的女儿带回芝加哥的新鲜辣椒和扁豆。我笑说:本来没想到这突如其来的雪呢，礼拜四就随便抓了一把，一样三四斤，。。。早知道就多收一些给她们了。

看着这么多辣椒，太太问怎么吃。我说:嫩辣椒炒五花肉，炒豆腐干肉末，都是湖南的经典菜呢。并且不太辣，正好合适她的口味。周末买回来7-8斤五花肉，这个礼拜就辣椒当饭了。吃不完的，我准备晒湖南白辣椒。。。
