I am not sure if this is a real problem technically.

but you can ask some professionals to come over and tune up your furnice, then clean al the vents. You know those pople have the proper tools to clean the vents.

About the home warrent, call the company,at which you bought your warrent, see what they will say to you. Always be persistent when you deal with these insuruance company, but do not let them to make you angry. Always try to calm and explain what you belive and what is fair. Good luck!
