I heard a similar thing happened around one of my friends home. Here is the father got married a younger wife. His older son was raised to 13years in China by the father's parents, both the father and the ex-wife haven't paid a penny to the grandparents during the ten years peirod (the son lived with grandma since he was 3). When the son was 13 years old, the father arranged him to immigrant to the US, then the nightmare started it. The father frequently beat the son for no reason, forced him to leave the house for several times, even do no give him any lunch money....The son wanted to return to China, but his blood momther didn't want to recept him, the grandparents are too old now.... He has to live in a house with nobody talks to him, frequent abuse.... No one thinks it is good to call the police, then the boy will end up in social workers' care, who know what will happen then? He is at his teens, very hard to manage.....
