You can get package to stay at Disney for one night, stay at San Diego for two nights. Don't try to drive from Disney to San Diego everyday. Too long commute and the traffic is horrible. (Too long drive from Seattle to LA. Does not worth it, unless you plan to tour the NPs/towns on the way. Gas + hotel + vacation time >> airline ticket + rental car. )
