自己动手做厨房餐桌

厨房餐桌大概是使用频次最高的家具之一，要承受日常生活对它的无情摧残；与此相反，花了很多钱置办的餐厅大餐桌，一年能用一两次也就不错了，基本是摆设。

 

我们家原先的一套厨房圆桌是十几年前刚来美国时买的，记得是在一个仓库式家具店。经过几次搬家，磕磕碰碰，桌边有些损坏。老婆建议换一套新的，并指定要胡桃木。她觉得红木有些俗气，可能在国内看得太多了；而胡桃木比较脱俗。

 

这是做好的桌子，凳子是以前那套餐桌的，暂时拿来用一用。

 

风格上我选择了比较有现代感的样式。桥型桌子已经有很长的历史，这个变形通过对桌面边角处理、以及基座弧线的应用，给人有现代感。下面是部分制作过程。

 

整个家具采用传统的榫卯技术，突然发现自己经过两年的实践，技术水平有了飞跃。拼装的时候最能体会出来，没有意想不到的缝隙，也没有高低不平，挺开心的。
