to save their planes, because similar accidents can be avoided if they find the root causes. Most of the times, they can make it, but sometimes do get themselves killed. These people are heroes. I think they are only required to avoid abandoning their planes in populated areas whenever they can. 

You shouldn't have expressed you hostile feelings like this. These people are respectable for they do.
