Buy this house All brick except the front side with majority o

Please help:
I am looking for buying a house in Tennessee, found one to consider. A question about the exterior: the other 3 sides are all brick, but the front side is 3/4 brick with 1/4 Vinyl.
This is the first time I saw a house like this (The front side is 3/4 brick). In order to save the cost, as we know the builders normally put all brick on the front side and Vinyl on the other 3 sides.
My realtor thinks it is specifically designed like this in order to make it more fasion or style, is it possible? Is there any disadvantage hidden from it?
BTW, the house is 5-year old.
