my father is 82 years old. his heart beat is very slow, sometimes below 40. long time ago, he was advised to have pacemaker, he refused. he lives on herbal medicine, jinsheng and qigong. This Monday he fainted and fell, but immediately woke up, my mother was with him.
He's now in hospital. Should he go through the surgery and put in the pacemaker?
Your input & suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

如果经济承受得起,应该做,不知道有何负作用,同时也要老人同意。

说实话,82的高龄作这种手术危险性也很高,如果你父母都坚持
