If the girl is very into the guy, any negative comments from the parents would only damage the relationship between parents and daughter, especially these comments make no much sense.

As said, the love may not last very long as the couple are still very young. Would they risk the relationship with the daughter for the short lasting infatuation of the youth?

Besides, the four parents of the guy's family seem to be very nice and reasonable people. The relationship they have formed are unconventional but seems to be constructive and loving. I think the girl has good taste.
