being a pharmacist needs four years undergraduate degree, four years of post-graduate study for a doctorate degree in pharmacy, plus internship and passing the licensing examination...(not to mention the continuing education requirement after that..)

because the job is easy, stable and the pay is decent,getting into a pharmacy school is not an easy task, getting through the four year progream is not easy, and paying for the education is not easy...

still wondering why so few first generation immigrants try this?
