He did go thru the Lemon Law procedings in Texas and got his money back after almost a year.
He often looked at his car (parked on the top of the garage of the office building, and could be seen from his office window), sighed and shaked his head - how could such a beautiful car had so many problems ...
BTW, he had to keep paying the monthly payments eventhough the Porche was not drivable 50% of the time... He got his money back after the court proceedings. It took forever to get a court date as there was only ONE person handling the complaints from the whole state of Texas.
When I filed my case, I was told, Toyota and Mercedes were the only 2 that did not participate arbitration. However, Toyota resolved all its cases before court date. I bought my Camry in February, filed the complaint in June, got the court date in December. Toyota replaced the transmission in July when it was undrivable at 3000 miles. Before that the car had been in and out of repairs countless times and got all its electronics replaced already.
