For 2012 Christmas, my eight year old daughter prepared a gift to Santa along with a letter written in cursive.
The gift was an elephant in a brown bag tied with a pink ribbon..
...and the beautifully written and illustrated note..
The note read as follows:
Dear Santa,
Hi, how are you doing? I have a few questions, but let's get down to the main point. For Christmas I want a Microsoft Tablet. Please put it under the tree at nighttime.
My questions are: how many reindeer do you have? Which reindeer is your favorite? How big is your sleigh? Is one of your reindeer called Rudolph? Please answer them on a note attached to my present. Ho! Ho! Ho! And a jolly Christmas!
Sincerely,
XXXX
PS: I drew a picture on the back for you.
She was also kind enough to write a note for her little brother, illustrated on the back as well.
The note said:
Dear Santa,
For Christmas I want a Kai ZX. Please try to find it! There are some oats in our front yard for your reindeer. Have a jolly time delivering presents!
Sincerely,
XXX
PS: I, XXXX, wrote this for XXX, my brother.
And here was what my 5 year old prepared for Santa to go along with the note his sister wrote for him.
On Christmas eve, they sprinkled reindeer food - oats with sparkles - in the backyard and went to sleep.
In the morning, Santa left them a note that made them very happy!
Happy Holidays, everyone!
