My experience

My older son fell off from bed and hid hard floor when he was 2 months, he is now 16 and very smart. My younger son fell off a shopping cart and hit the groud on his head when he was 5 years old, it was very bad, he cried and told me he could see things, and he fell aleep when we took him to hospital, and he slept from 5pm to next morning, and got up fine. He is almost 15 now, also very smart.

I hope nothing wrong with your baby, and don't blame your self, be careful next time.
