I sold mine exactly the same way. Interesting thing is that all the realtor I contacted with told me that it can only sale for $140k but I feel it can sale more that that. I put it on MLS for $700, (no inexpensive MLS agent here), asking $150k and sold it twice in 4 weeks. Multioffer as well.
