Questions about mailing medicine to US

Here is the situation: My parents come to visit us for half a year. Arrived for about a couple of weeks ago. Yesterday my mother found that she left one bag of her prescrition medicine at home. The medicine is made by US company but licensed to be produced and to be sold in China, so the label is in Chinese.

My sister found the bag at home and is planning to send the medicine to US via express mail. My question is, will there be a problem when it goes through US custom? What can we do to make sure the medicine will reach us?
