it is not a small percentage. Let's assume the land value is $4 million, so she just let $8 million go to waste. $8 million is 8% of her divorce settlement, i.e., 8%. remember that she does need to pay taxes on the 100 million, so it is more like 12% of her net worth. 12% is not trivial. I guess she is not terribly careful about money. hahaha.
