请教大家，要不要买房子？

来美四年多，一直在一个小城租房住。家人突然想起买房。不过只知道在这个小城还可以继续待2年半的时间，2年半后还能否继续在这里就不知道了。想请教一下各位，这种情况买房合适吗？
