How could we help our parents

Recently, mom and dad had hospitalized one after another after catching cold. Yesterday, I finally had a long conversation with mom after they just returned home. Mom described how she felt when she and my dad managed to get help to go to hospital during that cold winter night. I can feel the helpless and loneliness they had experienced. Tears coming down form my face silently. As I am struggling to fulfill my dream , how could I help my parents ? It has been a long time question in my mind , but I could not get a good solution.
