关于奥斯卡奖无依之地的导演赵婷说的原话。2013年，赵婷在她的interview中说，

美国新闻中这样报道，“It goes back to when I was a teenager in China, being in a place where there are lies everywhere," is from a 2013 interview with Filmmaker Magazine. ” 她提到了西部文化，但是并非指西部文化和中国一样到处是谎言， 非常明确地讲是中国。

她在后来的interview 中说，美国“ is not my country, ultimately ”. CNN报道时改成“是我的祖国,ultimately ", 之后，又出了更改。她说，她总是感觉是个外人，原文是outsider。
