Inspection reports are done by licensed and independent inspectors. They do not favor buyer or seller. They have their own (usually approved by state) guideline on what to inspect and what to put down on report.
Regardless on who paid for the inspection, a property owner can always go after the inspection company if there is mistake. That's why inspectors are insured and bonded.
It is OK to offer different opinions. But please do not mislead new buyers.
