长颈鹿脖子长，达尔文认为是自然选择。能吃到高处叶子的长颈鹿更有竞争力，于是留下了更多的基因。

拉马克认为是用进废退。为了吃到高处的叶子，长颈鹿的脖子越来越长越来越长。
