O型基因，相对于A型和B型，是隐性基因。就是说：O基因，遇到A或者B基因，它就表达不出来。


这么说吧，血型的基因型是这样的：


AA（两个A基因）- 这肯定是A型血。

AO（一个A基因和一个O基因）：这肯定是A型血，因为O基因是隐性基因，A基因是显性基因。O遇到A，它不表达；A表达出来，血型就是A型。


BB （两个B基因）- 这肯定是B型血。

BO (一个B基因和一个O基因）：这肯定是B型血 - 这肯定是A型血, 理由同上。

什么时候才是O型血？只有OO基因型，就两个基因都是O，才能表达为O型血。
