Before 2015:
Globalization = cheap goods, cheap labor, stable supply chains.

After 2018:

  • U.S.–China decoupling

  • Supply chain shifts

  • Tariffs

  • War in Europe

  • Higher shipping costs

Deglobalization always makes big countries suffer more because their economies are more complex and trade-dependent.
