看你们说家用热水器，我家这个25年了。。。

买房子的时候是三年新。当时跟的realtor是个很有经验的老太太，告诉我很多房子维修的事。热水器，她告诉我不要开到最高温度，那样寿命会短。我这里是用地下水，矿物质多，水烧开后很多沉淀物（热水瓶里经常出来的）。所以，搬进来就调到从最高往下的第三档。

中间听人说需要冲洗里面的沉淀物。正好有朋友在，他懂，就帮我。进去一看，大吃一惊：这是我们厂家的产品啊，设计寿命是6年，你这个十几年了。。。结果放出来水，基本没有沉淀物。他说这么长寿命很可能就是我温度开得不高有关系。

每年两次的空调/furnace公司维修，他们也做换热水器的生意，都给我推荐，说你这个20年了，可以换了。。。我说从来没bother我呢，不用换吧。中间就两次大风，因为在garage里面，门没关，把火苗灭了，我照上面的点火程序点过两次。也没有再冲洗里面的沉淀物。算算该是25年了。。。
