意大利的研究人员发现，每周食用超过19口（或四份）鸡肉的人比每周食用少于100克的人更容易死亡。

此外，该研究似乎还发现了食用过多鸡肉与胃肠道癌症之间存在令人担忧的联系。研究结果表明，每周食用超过300克鸡肉的人死于消化系统癌症的风险是普通人的两倍，男性的风险甚至更高。
