Everyone has different tastes. The most common apples in supermarket is Red Delicious, which is mediocre at best in terms of taste. Some nice apples like Red Fuji (富士苹果）, can not be grown in Ohio because it requires a long warm growing season.
The best way is to check with local University website or go to local nurseries.

黄苹果：Goldrush
