The article doesn’t mention that the loss is more of higher income and wealth persons and is being offset by an influx of lower income and sometimes no income persons seeking services. So add that to the equation and NYC is a plane with the nose pointed down. 21 years til number 2 ? Try 10 years til the tax base is eroded , services cut and the once beautiful city is a larger Detroit.
