How to negotiate again after bank's 口头同意. 谢谢!

I put an offer on a bank's house and the bank already 口头同意 but they said takes one week to sign the contract. Now,I feel my offer is too high, is anywhy I can talk to bank to put a lower offer but not to lost the contract? This is a cash offer and 'AS IS'condition so no contingencies.
