想早退休是男人的梦想

俺和那个hello11先生很相似，年龄也差不太多，情况也差不太多。我也想在55岁我能拿到pension的时候就退休。都和太太说过了，好像每那么大反应。我还有一个儿子在那个年龄才开始上大学呢。但看hello11的数字，感觉是先生对钱的数字没有概念，也就是他恐怕对投资理财没有多少概念。15万在现金里--我的理解是在taxable account里。如果这样的话，说明了：1。孩子上大学前没有计划和考虑；2。十年才160K 401K，而不是在IRA一类account里，说明没有尽量利用retirement account来减少所得税。

男人女人都得当家。你得让他知道家里的这些数字和知识，才有危机感。我太太不管投资，但我每年都汇报，告诉她我们在什么位置，退休后的大概期望值在什么地方。这样，两人才能同心协力，步调一直。

给他一个梦想和期望，但让他自己figure out生活的压力，才是作太太的高手。：）。
