午饭时间学个英语

昨天老公回家说他给他老板解释为什么低质量的原料做不出他们要的产品，老板听了后同意他的观点，然后说我教你这个英语里怎么说，“You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear"。

他回来讲起来，认为可能意思是“巧妇难为无米之炊”。我上网查了一下，巧妇这个应该是“You can't make brick without straw".
