My mother always liked her nieces and nephews so much more than her own kids. If she just liked her nephews, I would understand.
To her, 娘家人 are above everything and everyone. Unfortunately, that is a bunch of ungrateful people. I saw some of my cousins yelling at her In Front of Me. And I did not live with her for that many years. If I did, I would have seen more of their nastiness.
