I just purchased the Netgear Nighthawk X6 AC3200 Wireless Tri-Band Router last night. When I first plug in (connect to internet modem, computer, as instructed in the quick start), everything was fine. I can access the Admin page with both my computer, and my iphone. I can also connect to wifi internet (2.4 and 5.0) without any problem, the speed are awsome, I was very very happy.
However, after a few hours, I tried reorganize the wires behind the router. So I unpluged the ethernet cord from my computer, organized it, then connected back on. At this time, I am unable to access internet. When I click the network, it says connected but no internet access.
At this time, the wifi is still working on my computer. So I thought the wifi may blocked the land connection. So I turned off the wifi. But I am still unable to access the internet. I turned on the wifi, then I am able to connect to the Nighthawk network, but unable to access internet nor the admin page.
My cellphone is still working at this time. So I used my cellphone to login the admin page, I see nothing is blocked from the router side. then I found out the firmware needs to be updated, so I updated the firmware. After the update, my computer is still not able to connect to internet nor access the admin page (my cellphone can). Then I saw the trouble shoot manual tell me to reset to manufacture setting, so I pressed the button behind. The modem resetted. After the reset, my cellphone cannot access the internet nor sign in the admin page anymore, just like my computer.
However I am able to find the network in the WiFi on both my cell and my computer, and connect to the network. However, after the connection, there is no internet access nor able to sign in the admin page.
Anyoneknows what's going on here?
