问一个车库门和框的问题

让costco的vendor来沽了价，1000刀一个，三层layer的steel door，上面带玻璃窗的，不包括openner,包括installation和装那个边边。可是门的厚度不到两寸，觉得不理想。我们在美东，这个价钱合理吗？

另外，garage door frame有些地方烂了。其实自己修修也可以。但是听说现在有种PVC的材料作的frame，永远不会腐烂。有人用过吗？不知道价钱如何？
