Could someone answer my questions? Thank you so much in advance.
1. One year there was a $600 refund for every one. What tax year was this? Was there a special title for this refund? Was that a refundable or non-refundable credit?
2. IRS allows you to amend tax returns of the previous three years. Does this mean if I file an amendment now, I can still amend as early as 2007? Or 2008?
3. If you have to talk to IRS because they have made a mistake on your return, would you recommend calling their 1800 number? Or would you recommend going to the local IRS office?
