明明cc,

I so understand your problems.  It seems our parents share some very common problems.

I had some medical problem under control.  After my parents came to the U.S. for several months, the problem started again.

For example, my parents request that I have my phone on all the time.  I don’t sleep too well, and sometimes when I am very tired, I need to have my phone turned off in order to catch up on some sleep.  I told my mother that if she really has any medical problem, she should call 911.  I won’t be of much help in those situations.  Expecting me to pick up her phone calls all the time is not realistic.

I am not going to go on and on. I am going to give you a big hug.  All I can say is Life hard.  Let us try to take it day by day.
