any good way to 捉老鼠? Do we need to call pest control company?

Our house is 30 years old. Just found 老鼠 in the house. We bought 2 kind of bait stations. Doesn't work. Any good ones to recommand? Should we call pest control company for the service? What will they do? I saw some company's website, seems like all they can do is putting some bait stations as well, right?
