Search for home, get pre-approval letter, bargain to
reach agreement for a price, sign purchase agreement which can be downloaded from local realtor association or goverment, pay extremely attention to the contigent conditions in the purchase contract, order home inspection, if there is someproblem you need to send a letter to ask seller to fix and the seller should reply you to reach agreement, at this step follow the time line you defined in the Purchase Agreement exactly, NOTE you could walk away at this point if the you are not satisfied with the inpsection results or the Seller refused to fix the things you expected. Then, decide the mortgage lender, shop for home insurance and find title company, then wait for the day to close. That's it.
