Curtain and sofa set are great!

If you really like the red colour and the mirror, you may consider minimizing the decor colour to red and white as much as possible, i.e. vase (red), pillow (red), chair cushion (red), mirrow frame (white). You may also consider removing the small dark table and clear those small items on the table and shelf. Again my worthless two cents.
