Me and my friend’s family in Chicago has many different kinds of fresh and organic veggies: xiang cai (cilantro), cong (green onions), jiu cai (chives), kong xing cai, wen cai, xian cai (it has bloody red juice), several different kinds of four season beans, luo bo (big radishes), xiao cing cai (little, tender bok choys) and others. Also, they grow sth unique that grows only in Nanjing, called Ju Hua Lao (chrysanthemum leaves).
We will be happy to make the trip as long as you live in a relatively safe neighborhood. We hope to form some kind of bound, so each family gets what it likes to eat and get to do what the members are good at. I mean, some enjoy and are good at gardening, while some people enjoy and are good at fishing.
Thanks and have a nice weekend. I will be in and out, but will check the posts regularly today and tomorrow.
