hardwood floor cost

We are thinking to replace all the carpet in all rooms (living, dinning, family, bed), total 1600 SF. Can anyone give me a rough idea about the total cost? we will have to hire someone to do the work. we are at Chicago area. I will need to go HD to get an estimate, just wanted to get a rough idea from here first ...
