Better talk to multiple dentists...

I took my son to his dentist the other day. I overheard the dentist talking to a young guy around 18. He said that the young guy has several cavities (not serious). He decided not to fill them. Other dentists, who are more aggressive on treatment, may fill them, though. I did not hear clearly the reason for not filling the cavities. However, it does concur to my belief that not all the cavities need filling. For a 6yr old, I really doubt the necessity of doing the filling.
