The check is fake and bank will not be able

find out upon deposit. But they will a few days later since all the checks will go through some kind of verification with their security department. And if you deposit that check, you will be responsible for the fraud. So not only you are not getting the money and losing your stuff, but also you will get involved in some bad issue.

I am selling my stuffs on craigslist these days and got many of these emails. Just ignor them. Always do local deal and take cash only.
