It's not that hard--if they came to the US 20 years ago, bought a house 15 years ago in CA, their asset is about 1 million on th ehouse( net worth, not the definition of millioonaire, any way.). Plus their asset in retirement accounts, it's about time to reach investment asset of 1M--the definition of millionaire.

Remember, there is no special luck in the process needed.
