Is it easy to replace tiles on the roof?Damaged by an uprooted t

A contractor gave an estimate of $2750 for the tiles and the pation. If we can do it ourselves we can save our deductble $1000. A tree cutter cheated me and charged me $5500 for removing the tree. I put $1000 on my credit card as deposit. Not sure whether the insurance will cover(the agent thought the tree romoval fee is high too. The tree cutter said he worked with AAA many times but actually he didn't. So I'm not sure whether AAA will cover the $4500 for the tree removal or not but they'will for sure to pay for the tiles and patio. Any experience about this? Please share your comments. thanks.
