Thank you very much for all your helpful responses. I called. The customer service lady refused to waive the fee. I called again. Another lady answered my phone and she waived the fees. This is the first time I paid the credit card past due date. Next time, I would pay the bill through the bill payer service of my bank at least 2 days earlier.
