不要说中国人了，就是美国人也很少很少用到formal dinning的。家里人多或者来客也不过是causal的。我特受不了那种仿古的formal dinning table with 2 head arm chairs and 4-6 side chairs, just ugly. 而且桌上假如放了runner instead of some centerpiece的话，要套碟，刀叉，杯碗都放上。
