汉译英“猛听得金鼓响画角声震”第二版

I have to fulfill my liftime obligations(.)
To keep every inch of my land from intruding.
The Fan chief(tian)tain and bandits are worthless to mention.
With one single sword, I can block troops a million.

self, 关于“金”和“鼓”，下面是我们家昨晚的讨论：
    二哥：想起来你早上译的那句“金鼓响...”，金和鼓应该是两样不同的乐器。
    二姐：看来是我书读得太少了。论坛上一早就有人指出这个问题了。
    二哥：他们是怎么说的？
    二姐：他们提到“鸣金收兵”，推断这里的“金”肯定不是gold. 我当时留意的是这个“金”是金子还是金
            人的，因为戏词都极注重对仗和工整，后面用的是“画角”，所以前面应为golden drum. 如果
            这里是说的“锣”、“鼓”和“号”的话，听起来是有些别扭的。
    二小：What are you guys talking about? Explain it in English to me!
    二姐：Mom mistook a two word phrase 金鼓 as golden drum, or 金色的鼓。But it actually should be
            two musical instruments, one is a piece of metal shaped like a pot lid, which is for you to hold in
            one hand and stike with the other; the other is a drum.
    二小：I see. A gong and a drum.
    二哥：是啊，要不怎么能“金鼓齐鸣”呢！
    二姐：嗯。。。“金鼓齐鸣”形容战争激烈，“鸣金收兵”，“战鼓催征” 。。。
    二哥：这“金”是收兵的时候敲的！这句戏词写的有问题。

-- 问题讨论清楚了以后，我决定将错就错，还是用我原来的翻译，因为它在听觉之外，还有一些视觉效应。

喜欢billnet 的"awakening is ..."句型，又想保留soaring aspiration.

这里的“天门”，说的是“天门阵”，我前面用fortess是苦于找不到"阵"这个词怎么说。谢谢武都水坝的反馈，觉得这个trigram是最接近原意的一个词。

破阵，我能想到的合适的动词，是break和crack，比较之下，觉得break好些。那时候打仗跟现在不一样，这“破阵”恐怕脑力劳动还较多一些。文青，请替我问问，在这种情况下，storm还合适吗？

的过程。所以这句强调的不是跟敌人战斗的决心，而是说给自己听，劝解自己的。
