The sunset dyes your hair blonde

and the grasses golden.

Its flames dance in your eyes,

till the sun itself is molten.

 

You look into the future., but

this moment takes back your mind.

“There is more to see

from where you stand.”

 

The sun is down.

The autumn is up.

Look not far,

beauty is close to your heart.

 

While you have a fabulous view,

Someone is looking at you,

the most scenic view he's ever had.

 

There is a whisper of a fond adieu.

There isn't another girl

he can't let go.
