When I was reading an L.A. Times article on "anchor babies" this morning, I came across the following comment posted by one of the online readers:
The term "Drug dealers" is now considered offensive, the new less offensive term will be undocumented pharmacists.
"Burglars" will now be undocumented trespassers.
"Car jackers" will now be known as undocumented test drivers.
"Bank robbers" will now be known as undocumented bank tellers.
"Murderers" will now be known as undocumented life enders.
"Terrorists" will now be known as undocumented triggers of micro-aggression.
This coddling of language describing criminal acts is less than pathetic.
