"I got all excited" and "I got excited". Do they differ structurally? They differ by the degree of the excitement. Basically they are the same.

So if "I get worked up" means being emotionally involved in high degree of expectation "I get all worked up" means the same but with stronger feeling.

到目前为止, 我认为这行词表达了这样的意思, 即我曾热切盼望, 但到头来只是懊恼。 But I leave it open. I am going to spend more time on this.
